It sounds dry, but it's important:
To ensure you know exactly what to expect when placing your order, you can find our terms and conditions here – short, clear and legally compliant.

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed via our online shop Paper & Poets , represented by Annalena Greger, Luitpoldstraße 15, 76770 Hatzenbühl (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us").

By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Contracting parties

The purchase agreement is concluded with:

Annalena Greger
Luitpoldstraße 150
76770 Hatzenbühl
Email: support@paper-poets.de

3. Offer and conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to place an order.
By submitting your order, you are making a binding offer to purchase.
The contract is concluded as soon as you receive an order confirmation from us via email.

4. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are quoted in euros and include VAT.

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout, depending on package size and delivery country . The shipping costs displayed during the order process apply.

5. delivery

(1) We ship your order within a few business days after receipt of payment. Delivery is carried out by DHL. According to DHL, the standard delivery times are:

Germany: approx. 1–3 business days

EU / Switzerland: approx. 4–7 business days

USA / International: 7–12 business days

(2) Please note that delivery times may vary, for example due to high demand, international shipping, or unforeseen delays.

(3) For pre-orders, the delivery times or shipping periods stated for the respective product or during the ordering process apply.

6. Delivery

(1) For deliveries outside Germany, additional costs may arise, in particular customs duties, import VAT, import fees, or other charges. These costs are not included in our product prices or shipping costs and will not be covered by us, except for the USA.

(2) Any customs duties, taxes, and import costs incurred must be borne by the buyer. Please inform yourself independently before placing your order with the relevant customs or tax authorities in your country about possible costs and import regulations. Especially in the USA and Brazil, additional costs may be very high, up to 60% of the value of the goods.

(3) If acceptance of the shipment is refused due to customs duties, taxes, import costs, or other fees and the parcel is therefore returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct the return shipping costs incurred by us, as well as any other costs directly connected with this, from the order amount to be refunded.

7. Payment

Payments are made via the payment methods offered at checkout.
We use Shopify Payments , which gives you access to the following payment methods, among others:

  • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Klarna (instant bank transfer, possibly purchase on account)

  • More depending on availability

8. Right of withdrawal

You have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days .

9. Pre-Orders

(1) Products marked as pre-orders are items that are not yet in stock at the time of ordering and are only produced, manufactured, or procured by us after conclusion of the contract.

(2) Delivery of pre-ordered items takes place within approx. 4–7 weeks from conclusion of the contract, i.e. from receipt of the order confirmation. In individual cases, the delivery time may be extended by up to 3 additional weeks for reasons beyond our control. This includes, in particular, production or transport delays, defective production, loss or damage of the goods during shipping, as well as cases of force majeure.

We will inform you in text form of any significant delay known to us within 4 business days of becoming aware of it and, where possible, provide you with the expected new delivery date.

(3) The purchase price for the pre-ordered item becomes due upon conclusion of the contract. For pre-orders, depending on the payment method selected by you, the purchase price will be charged or collected immediately after conclusion of the contract. Shipping takes place as soon as the goods are available.

The statutory warranty rights apply. Should you receive a defective product, please contact us as soon as possible by email at support@paper-poets.de .

12. Liability

(1) We are liable in cases of intent and gross negligence in accordance with statutory provisions.

(2) In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for the breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment is necessary for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance you may regularly rely, known as a cardinal obligation. In this case, our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

(3) The above limitations of liability do not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, or to claims under the German Product Liability Act.
